What do you do after an I Ching reading?
A reading is not finished the moment it appears. Often it only becomes clear later which line stayed with you, which line still grates and where you need to look again.
Read first, then wait
The temptation to cast again at once is strong when a text is not immediately pleasant or clear. At I Ching Practice that is not the first step. First you read the opening form, then the changing lines, and only then the movement toward the resulting hexagram.
Write down one sentence that stays with you. Not as a conclusion, but as a marker for later.
Saving makes the difference
A single reading can land. A saved reading can return. With a basic account you can save up to five readings. With premium the full life path takes shape, with notes, recurrence and patterns.
That is where the difference between a consult and a practice begins.
Do not let a reading disappear at once.
Save what you may want to read again later.
